Church & Dwight hikes dividend by 5.5%

Church & Dwight Co. (CHD) will raise its quarterly dividend by 5.5 percent to $0.24 per share in the first quarter of 2020. This marks the 24th consecutive year of dividend increases by the household products company.

The quarterly dividend will be payable March 1, 2019 to stockholders of record at the close of business on February 15, 2019. A new annualized dividend rate of 96 cents per share yields 1.2% at a stock price of $74.22.

Church & Dwight Co., Inc. manufactures and markets a range of personal care, household and specialty products. The company is a producer of sodium bicarbonate, popularly known as baking
