Garmin (GRMN) will increase its quarterly dividend by 7.0 percent to $0.61 per share in 2020. This follows last year's 7.5 percent dividend hike by the Swiss based company. This increase follows 2 consecutive years of dividend increases.
Garmin's board of directors intends to recommend to the shareholders for approval at the annual meeting to be held on June 5, 2020, a cash dividend in the amount of $2.44 per share. If approved the first new quarterly dividend of 61 cents will be paid on June 30, 2020 to shareholders of record on June 15, 2020. A new annual dividend of $2.44 per share will yield 2.6% at a stock price of $95.36.
