Glatfelter (GLT) will raise its quarterly dividend by 3.8 percent to $0.135 per share in 2020. This is the first dividend hike by the company since 2017, when the dividend was hiked by 4.0 percent, marking 5 consecutive years of dividend increases at the time.

The next dividend is payable on August 1, 2020, to all shareholders of record as of the close of business on July 3, 2020. The ex-dividend date is July 1, 2020. A new annualized dividend rate of 54 cents per share yields 3.9% at a stock price of $13.69.

The company has paid a dividend to shareholders every year since at least 1987.
