RenaissanceRe Holdings (RNR) will raise its quarterly dividend by another 2.9 percent to 36 cents per share in 2021. This follows a dividend hike of 2.9 percent to $0.35 per share in 2020. This will mark the 26th consecutive year of annual dividend increases by the reinsurer. 

The company has increased its dividend during each of the twenty-six years since its initial public offering. The dividend is payable on March 31, 2021, to shareholders of record on March 15, 2021. A new annualized dividend rate of $1.44 per share yields 0.9% at a stock price of $159.35.

If we include this new dividend hike just announced for 2021 RenaissanceRe Holdings will pay shareholders an estimated $73 million in dividends annually.
