VEREIT Inc (VER) will hike its quarterly dividend by 20 percent to 46.2 cents per share in 2021. This comes after a dividend cut of 44.0 percent to $0.077 quarterly in 2020. 

The next dividend of 46.2 cents per share will be paid on April 15, 2021 to common stockholders of record as of March 31, 2021. A new annual rate of $1.85 per share yields 4.6% at a stock price of 40 for VER.

VEREIT is a full-service real estate operating company which owns and manages a portfolio of single-tenant commercial properties (retail, restaurant, office and industrial) in the United States. The company's business model provides equity capital to creditworthy corporations in return for long-term leases on their properties. On July 28th 2015 American Realty Capital Properties changed its name to VEREIT and a monthly dividend was changed into a quarterly dividend payment. The company has paid a dividend to shareholders every year since 2011.
