Brunswick hikes dividend by 24.1%

Brunswick Corporation (BC) will raise its quarterly dividend by another 24.1 percent to $0.335 per share in 2021. This follows a dividend hike of 12.5 percent to $0.27 per share announced in October 2020. This marks the 9th consecutive year of dividend increases by the US manufacturer of recreation products including marine engines, boats, fitness equipment, and active recreation products

The next dividend will be payable on June 15, 2021 to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 18, 2021. The ex-dividend date for the next BC dividend is May 17, 2021. A new annual dividend rate of $1.34 per share yields 1.3% at a stock price of $107 for Brunswick Corp.

Marine outboard engine maker Brunswick has a great dividend track record with 9 consecutive years of double digit dividend increases. The company will now pay an estimated $105 million in dividends to its shareholders annually, up from $85 million in October.
