Organon initiates dividend

Science-based global pharmaceutical company Organon & Co. (ticker: ORN) will start paying a quarterly dividend to shareholders. Organon was spun-off from Merck (MRK) on June 2, 2021.

Organon announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.28 for each issued and outstanding share of the company's common stock. The dividend is payable on September 13, 2021 to stockholders of record at the close of business on August 23, 2021.

Organon (NYSE: OGN) is a global healthcare company formed through a spin-off from Merck, (NYSE: MRK) known as MSD outside of the United States and Canada, to focus on improving the health of women throughout their lives.
