Ecolab (ECL) will raise its quarterly dividend by 6.3 percent to 51 cents per share. This follows smaller hikes in the last couple of years with a 2.1 percent hike to 48 cents per share in 2020, following a dividend hike of 2.2 percent to $0.47 per share announced by the Dividend Aristocrat in 2019. Ecolab has now raised its dividend 36 consecutive years.
The next ECL dividend will be paid January 18, 2022, to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 14, 2021. A new annual rate of $2.04 per share yields 1.2% at a stock price of $176. Ecolab shares trade ex-dividend on December 13, 2021.
