Applied Materials (AMAT) will raise its quarterly dividend by 8.3 percent to $0.26 per share in 2022. This follows up a dividend hike of 9.1 percent to 24 cents quarterly last year. In 2020 the semiconductor company hiked its quarterly dividend by 4.8 percent.

The next AMAT dividend is payable on June 16, 2022 to shareholders of record as of May 26, 2022. A new annual rate of $1.04 per share yields 0.8% at a stock price of $135. The quarterly cash dividend is a key component of Applied’s capital allocation strategy, and this marks the 5th consecutive year of dividend increases.
