On June 22, 2023. Darden's Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $1.31 per share, a 8.3% increase from the previous quarterly dividend. The new annual dividend rate of $5.24 per share yields 3.1% at a stock price of $167 for Darden.

The company initiated a dividend in 1995 and temporarily suspended its payment in 2020 because of COVID-19. In the fourth quarter of 2020 the dividend was reinstated.
