Ford Motor (F) will increase its quarterly dividend by 100.0 percent to $0.10 per share in the first quarter of 2013. Last year the car maker reinstated a $0.05 per share quarterly dividend and this marks the first dividend increase.
The next dividend will be paid on March 1, 2013 to shareholders of record on January 30, 2013. The ex-date for the increased dividend of 10 cents per share is January 28, 2013. Earlier Ford also paid dividends until 2006 when the dividend was cancelled.
