LTC Properties hikes dividend by 9.7%

Real Estate Investment Trust LTC Properties (LTC) will increase it's monthly payment by almost 10 percent.

LTC will now pay $0,17 per month, or $2,04 on annual basis, giving the stock a 5,4% dividend yield.

The last time LTC increased it's dividend was in July 2012, when the monthly payment was upped from $0,145 to $0,155.

Most REITs got hit hard the last couple of months because of the higher interest rates.
