Camden Property Trust hikes dividend by 2.7%

Camden Property Trust (CPT) will raise its quarterly dividend by 2.7 percent to $0.77 per share in the second quarter of 2018. This marks the first dividend hike by the REIT since the first quarter of 2016.

The dividend is payable on April 17, 2018 to shareholders of record as of March 30, 2018. Camden has now increased its annual dividend for 8 consecutive years.

Camden Property Trust is a real estate company engaged in the ownership, management, development, redevelopment, acquisition, and construction of multifamily apartment communities. Camden's properties consist of mid-rise buildings or two and three story buildings in a landscaped setting and provide residents with a range of amenities common to multifamily rental properties.
