Camden Property Trust hikes dividend by 3.9%

Camden Property Trust (CPT) will raise its quarterly dividend by 3.9 percent to $0.80 per share in 2019. This marks the 9th consecutive year of annual dividend increases by the REIT.

The dividend is payable on April 17, 2019 to shareholders of record as of March 29, 2019. The new annualized dividend rate of $3.20 per share yields 3.3% at a stock price of $96.95.

Camden Property Trust is a real estate company engaged in the ownership, management, development, redevelopment, acquisition, and construction of multifamily apartment communities. Camden owns interests in and operates 156 properties containing 53,391 apartment homes across the United States. Upon completion of 7 properties currently under development, the Company’s portfolio will increase to 55,501 apartment homes in 163 properties.
