Quaker Chemical (KWR) will raise its quarterly dividend by 4.2 percent to $0.37 per share in the second quarter of 2018. Last year the chemical specialties company raised its dividend from $0.345 to $0.355 quarterly.

The next quarterly dividend is payable on July 31, 2018, to shareholders of record at the close of business on July 17, 2018. The new dividend yield for KWR is 1.0% and 2018 marks the 11th consecutive year of dividend increases by the company.

Michael F. Barry, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President commented, "Quaker is committed to growing the Company and our dividend. Our strong cash flow generation and our confidence in the future earnings of the Company allow us to continue our consistent dividend payout and support this increase, while striking a balance with the expected future demands on cash from our Houghton combination. We are pleased to say that this is our 42(nd) dividend increase in 46 consecutive years of paying dividends."
