Alaska Air Group (ALK) will raise its quarterly dividend by 7.1 percent to $0.375 per share in the first quarter of 2020. This is the 7th consecutive year of dividend increases for airline company.

The next dividend will be paid on March 2, 2020, to all shareholders of record as of February 18, 2020. A new annualized dividend rate of $1.50 per share yields 2.3% at a stock price of $66.75.

Alaska Air Group, Inc. is the parent company of Alaska Airlines, Inc., Virgin America Inc., and Horizon Air Industries, Inc. The company operates daily flights across the United States and to Mexico, Canada, Costa Rica and Cuba. The company has been paying a dividend to shareholders every year since 2013, when a quarterly distribution was reinstated. Previously Alaska Air also paid a quarterly dividend to shareholders until 1990.
