Alaska Air suspends dividend

Alaska Air Group (ALK) will suspend its quarterly dividend in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Alaska Air last raised its quarterly dividend by 7.1 percent to $0.375 per share in the first quarter of 2020, marking the 7th consecutive year of dividend increases for airline company.

In a press release on March 25, 2020 Alaska Air announced schedule reductions and other changes to conserve cash, including the suspension of the company's cash dividend. Earlier Alaska Air had already suspended the share repurchase program.
