Accenture plc (ACN) will raise its quarterly dividend by 10.0 percent to 88 cents per share in 2020. Last year the it services company hiked its dividend by 9.6 percent to 80 cents per share quarterly. Accenture moved from a semi-annual to a quarterly schedule for dividend payments in fiscal 2020.

The next dividend will be paid on November 13, 2020 to shareholders of record on October 13, 2020. The new annual rate of $3.52 per share yields 1.6% at a stock price of $214.63.

After this latest dividend increase Accenture will pay its shareholders an estimated annual dividend amount of $2.33 billion. This compares to a current market cap of $136 billion for the company.

Accenture has been raising its dividend for sixteen consecutive calendar years with five double digit dividend hikes in the last decade. The company also announced four increases of more than 9.5 percent since 2011, with the smallest dividend hike of 7.8 percent and the biggest increase of 50.0 percent in 2011.
